'Liberty Grande' comprises some 18 000m² under roof. This truly is a "Grande" building with 6 000m² of commercial space and 12 000m² of residential space with 2 parking levels and a third floor deck including a swimming pool, laundry and gym.
This building is historically significant, being the "old" Libertas Centre / Hospital where one could drive up to the Burger Fair Roadhouse and enjoy a takeaway which would be delivered to your car on a tray and placed on your window. Milkshakes, burgers and fries were enjoyed while music blared out of the PA system under the building canopy, all prior to the building being redeveloped in 2006, into a sectional title scheme.
Today 'Liberty Grande' is a vibrant apartment block with a singular occupied commercial (office) ground floor.
